Learn how to develop a king mindset to overcome self-doubt, control your emotions and build the ultimate resilience for long-term success in your life
Developing the Mindset of a King
Many people think power comes from a position or title.
But history has repeatedly shown that many such kings were born into royal families.
But still, they lost their empire.
Do you know why?
Because real power is never in a position.
Power is not inherited; it is created.
As it is said in Law No. 34 of 48 Laws of Power, Act like a king to be treated like one.
In today’s age, your financial well-being, your career, your inside health and physical health are all part of your kingdom.
If you keep growing constantly, you will one day rule the entire world.
That’s why today we will use hard-learned lessons and psychological experiments to deep-dive into how you can achieve a king mindset.
But what is this king's mindset?
How is it developed?
And how can you establish yourself as a king in your personal and professional life?
Taking Responsibility for Your Kingdom
No. 1 is a very famous line, which goes, " True power lies not in ruling but in the trust and respect of the people.
If you always blame others for your mistakes, people will never be able to trust you.
So never run away from your mistakes.
Learn to accept them from time to time.
Research has also shown that whenever a person takes responsibility for every decision in his life, whether good or bad, he begins to view his life from a different perspective.
Take a research study by Stanford University, in which people were divided into two groups.
One group was told that their failures were due to external factors such as luck, circumstances, or chance.
And the other group was told that their failures were due to their own mistakes.
Whatever difficulties they are facing in life today are due to their own mistakes.
This was repeatedly ingrained in their mind for the next few weeks.
And then after a few months, a test was taken.
And the results of that test were completely shocking.
The results showed that people who accepted their failures and understood their mistakes experienced significant personal growth. cess than other people in that specific time period.
Because they blamed themselves for every decision they made.
And this is what a king's mindset is.
Accepting your mistakes at that exact moment and learning from them.
I’ll give you an example of myself.
When my first startup shut down, I looked for every reason to blame myself.
There was a problem in the market: clients were not good, and there were no opportunities. that I was not at fault here.
I am doing everything right.
But one day I was sitting alone in my room.
Because there was no work, freelance or otherwise.
And I was just sitting and thinking about my life.
So this reality hit me on a different level.
I asked myself why I didn’t become successful.
Why did my startup fail?
Then I realised that there were flaws in my decision-making.
I didn’t judge my work properly.
I didn’t evaluate it properly.
Spending time with friends for no reason, talking nonsense, all my time was wasted in this.
And the failure I was facing, I was somehow responsible for it.
When I took full responsibility for my mistakes, the first step of growth came.
Which was acceptance.
This is very important to anyone’s life.
Many times you blame your parents, that's why all my friends are so rich.
And why are we so poor?
Why is our financial situation so bad?
Why can't we afford all the things my friend has?
The point is, you need to take the blame.
God has given you two hands and two legs.
He has given you a good brain.
So work hard, earn money, and then blame yourself and your parents.
Who will stop you?
The most important thing here is to accept your situation and take responsibility for yourself.
Mastering Emotional Control
An experiment was done at the University of California.
Researchers saw the connection between emotional state and decision-making.
They found that people who can control their emotions make more logical and effective decisions.
And those who operate on emotion take impulsive, harsh, or rash decisions.
The biggest problem in today’s world is that people cannot control their emotions. many different types of addictions.
Someone has a phone addiction, someone has a substance addiction.
But among all these, the biggest addiction that is damaging your emotional state is porn addiction.
When you crave something, it is mostly because of emotional triggers.
But the basic principle of a king's mindset is that you never take impulsive decisions.
Especially in the moments of weakness.
Today, because of this phone, you will easily find everything in the world at your fingertips.
And that too by just searching on Google.
Right from right and wrong from wrong, both.
But when this craving strikes, just ask yourself a small question.
Are my emotions driving me?
Or am I really thinking logically?
Recently, there was news from Telangana that a person, rather a porn addict, took his own daughter’s life by hitting a stone.
Just because she refused to have anything to do with him.
So many people are becoming mentally ill and criminally minded because of this addiction.
This addiction damages people in such a way that today’s youth is becoming emotionally, physically and mentally weak.
If you want to break this addiction, you will have to understand the problem deeply.
In our school or among peers, this addiction is a very taboo topic.
People don’t even talk about it.
And no one knows the correct information about it.
And that’s why we go to porn websites out of curiosity to find out what it is exactly.
And when this curiosity turns into an addiction, you don’t even know.
In the olden days, sex education and the Kama Sutra were considered normal.
Today, we feel ashamed to even say the word sex.
Whereas for us, this is a very important lesson today.
You will have to analyse the root cause of this problem.
You will have to understand its scientific reasoning.
You will have to understand it not from the point of view of pleasure, but from the point of view of science.
And you will get the cure for this addiction on your own.
Knowing Your Destination and Delayed Gratification
The second point is that a king knows his destination before he sets out on the journey.
There is another interesting study I want to share with you.
A marshmallow test was conducted at Stanford University.
This is related to that.
In this, small kids were given a marshmallow.
And they were told that if they didn’t eat the marshmallow for 15 minutes, then they would get one more marshmallow.
Marshmallow means a small sugary dessert, not a dessert, a small sugary candy type.
You already know that kids love sugar, candy, and chocolate.
But when this test was conducted on them, its main purpose was to understand the concept of delayed gratification in their lives.
And shockingly, many kids ate that marshmallow and waited for the next marshmallow.
It means that this concept of delayed gratification has been there in your mind since childhood.
You can understand it very well.
But there was one more interesting thing.
This research was followed up on after 15-20 years.
And it was found that all the kids who didn’t eat the marshmallow and waited for the next marshmallow had achieved many things in their professional lives.
Since childhood, their self-control has been very high.
This experiment shows that self-control and focus are crucial for achieving long-term rewards.
And you should learn this from childhood.
And this is the king's mindset.
Maintaining your vision and focus while avoiding short-term distractions. Today’s decisions will impact his future.
Consider this as a ripple effect of every decision you make.
It shapes the outcomes of the coming days.
If you eat a healthy diet and work out, you'll see results in 6-12 months.
It takes time and patience.
But the results are visible.
And these same principles apply in our lives, too.
If we run after short-term pleasures, be it laziness like sleeping all day, not completing work on time, or instant gratification like porn or masturbation, or distractions like social media or gaming, all these distractions can give you temporary relief.
But understand that all these things are taking you away from your real goals.
If you learn to control short-term pleasures today, you will invest your energy, focus, and time in the right place.
Take a real-life example.
Any successful person, be it a businessman, an artist, or an athlete, has always prioritised their long-term goals.
Ronaldo still trains, works out and recovers for 7-8 hours a day.
Elon Musk still works for 12-16 hours a day.
And he has not set this routine 2 minutes ago.
This has been his regular routine for the last 15-20 years.
Take my own example.
I have been following this same routine: wake up in the morning, work hard for 9-10 hours, study and then go to sleep at night.
It sounds very boring.
My life is actually not that happening.
Neither do I go to parties, nor do I go to meet my friends.
My life is very boring in a way.
But this boring life will make you successful in the long term.
I have understood this thing very well.
And today you also need to understand this thing.
As a king knows that today’s wrong decision can have a bad impact on the whole empire.
Similarly, today’s actions can either make or spoil our future.
Now, what you have to do with your future is in your hands.
That’s why you should eliminate small distractions in your life and prioritise your big goals.
Have a big vision for your life.
Have a big goal.
Have a big dream.
And keep it in your mind every day.
Just keep working.
One day, when the whole world will clap for you.
Cultivating Unshakable Self-Belief
The famous psychologist Albert Bandura proposed a theory that says that if you have complete faith in your abilities, then you can easily face any challenge in life.
Your belief system is the biggest factor in your success.
People who doubt themselves never make big decisions.
And even if they do, they don’t pursue them confidently.
Self-doubt is your biggest enemy.
Until you don’t believe in yourself, this world will not take you seriously.
If you keep saying that I belong to a middle-class family.
Where will I buy such an expensive car?
Where will I afford this expensive watch or these expensive shoes?
This belief system of yours is the biggest mistake.
Whenever you build your belief system with your background or limitations, you are blocking your own path.
Always have complete faith in your abilities.
You can get whatever you want.
You just need to change your belief system.
Your background, financial situation and current circumstances don’t define you.
Your mindset and confidence define you.
Achieving big dreams in life is only possible when you have faith in yourself.
To make these dreams possible, you need extreme confidence.
And this confidence is just a skill that is built with practice.
The more challenging situations you face, the more your confidence will increase.
And the more your fear will end.
So challenge yourself.
Learn new skills.
And get out of your comfort zone.
If you have that belief, then nothing in the world can stop you.
Building Alliances and Surviving Battles
Point no. 5: A king builds alliances and not enemies.
Another important aspect of a king’s mindset is networking.
A king doesn’t just rely on his strength.
He knows that he can’t win the whole world alone.
If he wants to achieve that, he needs an army.
Those who have the same goal.
Those who want the same things that he wants.
That’s why a king always makes allies.
Because networking shows you new opportunities.
It gives you a new perspective.
And whenever there’s a setback in life, your network also supports you.
It’s always behind you, no matter what the problem is.
That’s why you can achieve a lot with a strong network.
And that too in a very short time.
For example, when I started my journey, I didn’t know anyone.
But gradually, I started building connections with people in my industry.
And because of these connections, I’m getting many new opportunities today.
This is also a king mindset.
Build relationships with people.
Nurture those relationships with them.
Because your success is not only built by your efforts, but also by the efforts of your network.
And number six, a king knows how to survive the toughest battle.
In a study, people were divided into two groups.
One group was allowed to give up after the failure.
The other group was given the option to retry after the failure.
Some of them were retrying again and again.
One thing was observed in these people.
They were constantly entering this cycle.
Keep failing.
Understand your mistake.
Improve yourself.
Retry.
This cycle was going on constantly.
Now, those who had quit earlier got only 36% in that test.
But those who improved again and again had their score reach 97.3% as they increased.
They were very close to perfection.
This experiment shows that resilience is the key to a king's mindset. He uses it as a learning tool for himself.
Until you treat every defeat as a lesson, until you see it with that perspective, this learning part is very important.
If you keep trying without thinking, you will always fall down.
Nothing much will happen.
You will just practice falling down.
So, the most important thing is to understand and analyse why you failed in the first place.
